Profile
Birmingham based designer Naomi Sheppard, is an exciting new talent to hit the jewellery scene. Naomi specialises in making beautiful pieces of art that are enjoyed by both the wearer and the viewer. Her designs have been featured on the catwalk, in exhibitions and in store displays and have received significant press coverage. Her jewellery collections are stocked at a selection of esteemed galleries and stockists throughout the UK and the Channel Islands.
At degree level, Naomi specialised in catwalk jewellery and received a lot of attention for her large-scale, couture collections.
On leaving London, Naomi set up her own studio workshop in Birmingham’s prestigious Jewellery Quarter, the heart and soul of the UK’s jewellery industry.
Here she developed her range of wearable jewellery collections in silver, 18ct gold and platinum. These collections have earned her an enviable reputation in contemporary jewellery design.
Naomi’s signature style incorporates a high level of craftsmanship along with originality, ingenuity and creativity in design. Using a combination of contemporary and traditional jewellery techniques, Naomi’s work utilizes a method of cold metal joining, which allows the notion of movement to feature heavily, resulting in stunning pieces of jewellery that have an element of fun and tactility.
Her confident designs and innovative style clearly define Naomi Sheppard as a designer for the modern times.
